Old World Foundation Celebrates our 40th Anniversary in 2024!
We invite you to join us in celebrating our 40th anniversary year. In 1984, a group of people founded Friends of Old World Wisconsin which was later incorporated and became Old World Foundation. This passionate group of people recognized that in order for Old World Wisconsin to become the premier Midwestern outdoor living history attraction, it would need additional support. Thanks to our Friends (those who support annually with an unrestricted gift) and the donors who give to specific projects and programs at OWW, Old World Foundation has gifted over $9 million to Old World Wisconsin since our inception.

OWF New Mission and Vision Statements:
The Old World Foundation Trustees met to discuss and revise our mission and vision statements and our strategic plan. Since this is our 40th Anniversary year, it seems like a good time to evaluate where we are and look ahead to the future. We remain committed to advancing Old World Wisconsin.

Our Mission Statement has been updated to state:
Enriching lives through the preservation and celebration of history, Old World Foundation is dedicated to responsibly funding the advancement of Old World Wisconsin.

Our Vision Statement is:
A future where lessons of the past ignite curiosity, inspire learning, and foster a deeper understanding of our diverse cultural heritage through impactful giving.
